THE BACON CYCLE

Image
You might notice I'm not always around when you are. Unless you're eating bacon. Then I'm around. But when there's no bacon, I'm asleep. I sleep a lot. I have to. Digesting bacon is no easy thing. It takes a lot of energy. That energy comes from bacon. It's a delicious cycle, isn't it? I bark at them, but I don’t get too close because they have huge claws and a tail that’s longer than me, and no fur. I think mum calls them Joannas but I...
